Bad ideal? Good ideal? I'd like to make the first trigger pull lighter than the factory 9.5 lbs. I'm use to shooting/carrying/training with Glocks so trigger control/discipline is no problem for me.

Is having the first shot at around 5.5 lbs. like the rest a problem as far as the mechanical operation of the pistol goes? The gun in question is a SIG P239.

His name escapes me at this moment, but there is a guy who does awesome trigger jobs on Beretta, Taurus, and Sig psitols.

Send it to Sigs Custom shop for a trigger job, or contact Bruce Gray ([email protected]) and see what he says.  Sigforum.com holds Bruce in VERY high regard, and he posts there often as well.  Those are your two best bets.  The P239 is a sweet little carry gun.
