not a pistol but ill probably clean my 11.5 SBR this weekend at some point, that rifle has been fired 100% suppressed for close to 500 rounds with lots of mag dumps and has not skipped a beat. I locked the bolt open the other day and it was really caked up.
I cleaned my glock 19 the other day just because of the amount of sand and lint it had in it. Pistol didnt care, i would bet money i could have kept shooting it for thousands of rounds without a malfunction. i generally keep my firearms clean and lubed but i dont stress about having a dirty gun in the safe. It took me years to get to this point since i came from active duty and white glove cleanings now i just get the big shit off throw some lube on it and carry on. |
