Bought a 9mm Shield in April. A status check shows the received a valid rebate but not shipped. Filled out another 4 days ago and it does not show up...yet.

Anyone actually get a check yet?

Check your rebate here....type in last name and zip only...

Saw a thread somewhere pretty sure it was glocktalk that someone got an email from s&w saying they were way behind on rebates. It took me like 6 months to get my Remington ammo rebate so I could see this taking a lot longer. It'll probably get better once the rebate is over on the 30th

Got the email saying "Sorry we suck at rebates, but keep waiting." Come the freak on. I would possibly pick up a second one if they didn't suck at the rebate deal so bad.

Yeah, I got the email... Usually rebates work like this....S&W offers a rebate and hires someone to handle it. That company tries to reject as many rebates as possible to save money. That company drags their feet as long as possible hoping that you forget about it. Then they send you a check that is so small that you may inadvertently throw it out...again saving the money...

I submitted a valid rebate by internet. How hard is it to get a computer to spit out a printed check...? Still waiting on my second rebate to show up as submitted...

This is exactly why I do not like mail-in/internet rebates. It may well sweeten the deal to an extent, but I've never heard or read any positive reviews on mail-in rebates. I'd rather pay a little more and let them keep their rebate. The immediate rebate/discount coupon/discount code, etc... that can be redeemed at purchase is a different story.

Mine says valid submission was received on May 8th, but it hasnt shipped yet.
I did it online.

The rebate is really the only reason I bought a Shield, but I really didnt expect to see it for quite some time. I cant think of a single rebate I bothered to take part of that didnt take so long I ended up forgetting about it.

Mine is in the database. I enter it on Apr. They send an email a week or two ago stating the reason why the delay. The rebate was extremely successful.

Submitted mine April 27th....it shows shipped 6/29, still haven't got it yet. I called them and they said the check was printed last week and if it didn't ship last week then it will ship by the end of this week for sure. Just sayin.....

Ordered my Shield back on May 11th and probably submitted the paperwork for the rebate the following week. Just checked the Milano website and for the first time it shows that they received my valid submission on June 4th, still nothing in the mail

Call who? That phone number that shows up on the Milano website goes right to a full mailbox....LOL F! these shady rebate deals... Current rebates offers are making me shrug off the current ammo rebates....

I believe they originally told me 6 to 8 weeks when I called. I submitted mine online on 6/3 and it still has not shown up.

Now I'm wondering if I shouldn't go ahead and send in paper copies to CMA. (?) Based on what's being reported when the submissions show up on the website it'll be after 7/31 before I *might get confirmation.

Sounds legit....not. Guess they're marking them as shipped to buy more time before actually mailing them out. Been well over a month I believe at this point and mine still doesn't even show in their system...

I submitted my rebate online on 6/3 and it just showed up on the website 7/26. Your 6/9 submissions will probably show up next week.
