Not sure what the problem is here.

I replaced the connector with the edge. After a couple of mag changes after firing till empty I started getting no reset from trigger after chambering a round.

Any ideas?

Put the original  connector back in.  See if you still have the same reset issue.

Yeah, shouldn't the J of the trigger spring be up over that lip?

You can see the spring in there.

This is happening with stock connector too. If I rack the slide a few times trigger will eventually reset.

I just broke my 43 down.  The front edge of the connector with all the numbers should slip into a fold.  Your pic is missing that "FOLD".  Hence the reset issue.  Only four of the five numbers should be visible.  The fifth is under ghat folded metal slot.

there should be a lip that you need to clip up over the end of the serial numbered piece.
