What do you guys think? Decent deal or pass? I like 357 sig but I also have 9mm.

Honestly I'm not a fan of HK or Sig. But I have the HK. What would be the better value?

I think you would lose on the deal. 357 Sig ammo. is pretty pricey to boot, unless you reload.

I would never trade a 9 for a 357.  I got out of that caliber for a reason.  Expensive to shoot compared to all the other service calibers.  Shit I could find 45 GAP ammo easier sometimes than 357 Sig.

I really want a P226 in 357SIG. Must be a great shooter.

Both good guns.

The HK may be a bit more practical, but what the heck...........

Do you have other handguns?  What is your primary HD and/or CCW weapon?

If you have those covered the P226 could be a lot of fun.  You're a couple of barrels away from being able to shoot 9mm, .357, and 40.  I love my P229 in .357.

9mm is the round you seek.  357sig is on paper, a good round.  In practice, it's not any better than 9mm and it's a PITA to reload for, and $$$ to buy.

I'm a 9mm guy but I can see the logic in having .40 guns if they fit in your 9mm holsters.....even though 40 isn't really ideal either, procurement of ammo during ammo runs make it worthy of stocking.  357sig isn't popular enough for that use.  I just don't see the logic in it unless you want the fastest 9mm projectile (which in reality, doesn't really matter all that much).
