Nothing complicated, just what the Title says!  Best CARRY da/sa 9mm, comfortable to wear, 10-15rd capacity, good ergos, etc...Worst case scenario, I will have bought the THIRD G19, I've ever owned!

HK P2000 for me, don't get me wrong I love my Beretta 92FS Compact and Sig P228, but they are heavier being all metal guns. The Hk's are lighter being plastic and still very good DA/SA guns. I really like the HK LEM triggers also...

Beretta PX4 Compact Carry. Excellent trigger, factory tritium sights, three 15rnd mags. Same size as the G19.

Maybe if they had holsters and sights available or even a sliver of aftermarket support.

Meh. Great fit and finish, but a too heavy trigger in both DA and SA and nonexistent aftermarket support. A slightly tuned up CZ P-01, PCR, or even a P-07 beats it in trigger quality and with many options in holsters and sights. I had a Sphinx SDP Compact that sat in the safe for too long and I traded it away. I much prefer the CZ'S.

Best is soooooo subjective.   My top picks would be SIG 228 (or M11) or Beretta 92 Compact.  Next would be the CZ75 compacts or a S&W 6906.

IMO Sig is the best DA/SA for carry. The 229 may be the best example, since the single stack 239 really isn't very much smaller. The ergos of the Sig IMO make it more fit for carry than any other. The placement of the decocker is what makes Sig stand out. I've never owned an HK or anything more expensive than a Sig, but I suspect Sig still has an edge when it comes to a carry piece. That said, I switched to striker fired and consider DA/SA as going the way of the revolver, but it probably has some niches, just none that I can think of.

Hell no, MUCH better options especially for the money. Ergos? Placement of the decocker? You use the decocker when loading before heading out into the world. If you are in need of a tactical reload due to whatever condition you might currently be in, you most certainly aren't going to be putting the hammer down.

Sig is garbage for the price. They've gotten me twice with the koolaid (P320 and a P229), never again.

Why does the placement of the decocker matter? That's probably the last thing I care about. It's not like you have to use the decocker in an emergency.

Yeahbut...  with a grip sleeve and standard 15 or 17 round mag, it's the best of both worlds.

I'm not arguing mind you, I generally approve of your taste in firearms that you have discussed over the years.

I just like the option of being able to make it a smaller package with the 10 round stock mags, if needed,
and I shoot my C every bit as accurately as my full size P99s.

Excellent choice. Reset is one of the best of any polymer pistol. Had a full size P99 AS, and loved it.

There is NO correct answer to your question as "best" is subjective. You have been and will continue to get just personal choices of various posters. Choose among those for you own personal best gun.

If one insists on DA/SA  then the best choice is clearly the CZ PCR.

If one insisted on Polymer, then the CZ P-07 or FN FNX-9

Best? Highly relative.

I bought one of these for about $280 shipped and transferred, just to "have around", thinking I'd never shoot it much.

As of yesterday I've run just under 1400 rounds though it, the first 1000 of which were fired without cleaning the pistol just to see if it'd quit. It didn't. Was so impressed I went on the look for another. This time I found a used one for a little over $180. It appeared to have had a pickup bed full of ammo fired through it without being cleaned, and I'm pretty sure someone drove nails with the muzzle end of the slide. Nevertheless, it runs flawlessly as well. They weigh 28 oz. unloaded, accept aftermarket CZ 75B magazines with a tiny bit of alteration to the catch recess and shoot amazingly well:

Best? Probably not, but definitely the best for me.

Yes there is, CZ PCR

Light weight while still being all metal for durability and FULL slide inside frame setup.

No need for a light while CCW so no need for rails

Trigger and action can be made from 12lb DA to 5lb DA depending on what you want to do for it

There is no better choice here.
