More of a curiosity (and possible ideas for new handgun purchase) but the Beretta PX4 Storm has the, Im gonna assume, unique rotating barrel mechanism, unlike the tilting barrel design like Glocks have. I know of the Grand Power K100 and its series of pistols, but are there other handguns that have this rotating barrel design? Google isnt showing me jack other than articles and discussions about the design or the Beretta.

Beretta Cougar 8000 series used a rotating barrel lock in 9, 357sig and 40.

Nothing new some rotating barrel designs predate World War Two. I believe the Market flop Colt 2000 had one too, plus a few eurodesigns I can't recall off hand

The out-of-production Colt 2000 was, and I believe the Mauser M2 pistol was also was a rotating barrel.

I think the desert eagle does but I don't have one to be sure.

The big desert eagles use a rotating bolt lockup, actually looks a lot like an AR.
Are the old Fromers rotating barrel locking?

The Desert Eagle has a rotating bolt, much like the AR, but not a rotating barrel.

I like em, I have both a Grand Power P1 Mk7 and a Stoeger Cougar. Both are very soft recoiling unless you load them up with +P+ submachine gun ammo like I did yesterday.

Biggest ding on the design is that they are very difficult to suppress. Not impossible, but you need a very odd design of suppressor adaptor to do so and threaded barrels for these guns are virtually nonexistent.
