Which do you feel more comfortable with or would rather have. 8 rounds of .45 or 10 rounds of .40?

LOL! Pounds of ammo would be good for the range I guess. Hehe.

I currently carry 6 in a wheelgun, so I'd be comfortable with either one.

I have 4 H&K's.
2 .40's and 2 .45's.

I prefer the 10 rounds of .40S&W. Also the .40 has better penetration in many cases.

hald dozen of the one and six of the other

I got rid of my 40S&W and 357SiG, so I guess that answered the question.

I chose the 45acp over the 40S&W for a few reasons.

The 45acp is a gentle round to shoot.
45acp is less expensive than 40S&W.
In a SHTF scenario, 45acp will probably be more available.
I already had many 45acp revolvers.
45acp is a more forgiving caliber in reloads.
45acp can be loaded down to plinking levels or up to hairy chested, reach out and touch someone.

The same reasons applied to the 357SiG compared to the 357MAG.

You must stop posting info such as this. I am building a house and cant afford to spend any money at the moment. PLEASE, dont put ideas in my head. Do it for the children.

I know you guys will think i'm crazy, but i'd rather have 19rds of 9mms in my glock.

Not crazy at all. Thats what my wife uses. Just isnt for me. I dont want any holes in my body, whether they are .45, .40, or 9mm sized ones. Especially holes that are precisely placed.
