I am thinking of the Super Match Kit  with the 3.5lb pull it says its a drop in kit for the series 70's.  Now I have taken my 1911 completly apart and gotten it back together successfully do you think I can put in this C&S kit??  how much fitting is involved?

Yeah, you can probably do it.  There shouldn't be much fitting compared to some other stuff, but it's not going to just drop rihgt in.  As long as you understand this, and are careful and follow the directions, it shouldn't be a problem.  I've installed a C&S extended safety on my Browning HP, and it was cake.  Works great and is a high quality unit.  It sounds like you have the right mindset to do it.  Just take your time and be careful.

Besides, if you screw it up, you can just throw the original parts back in.  At least you won't actually ruin the gun, unless you get REAL creative.

I've used lots of C&S kits on my HPs and they've always fit perfectly.
