In the movie 'Broken Arrow" with Christian Slater and John Travolta. It is where John and Christian are Stealth fighter pilots and John decides to steal the nukes they are carrying. The scene near the end where they are on the train, and shooting it out. John had a full auto pistol that had a folding mini-forward grip. This pistol appeared to be a hybrid of a 1911 and a Barretta 92FS, or at least it looked to me to be such. Question is....what pistol is this? I was able to identify every single firearm in this movie except for this one and its really bugging me now. Can someone help please.

SECURITY ARMS!!!! Man why didn't I think of that. I even have it on my favorites. DOH!! So it is a Barretta. Well I'll be darned!!!

Ok... now comes the fun part!

Thanks for the site. Love the pics. I still like the Glock 18 though. But you know for some reason the hammer was throwing me off in the movie. It was making the gun look like a 1911 to me somehow. Yet when I look at the pics from this site, it seem clear to me that it is a Barretta. Huh?!?! go figure.

It's a Beretta 93-R. Came with a folding stock too. I know cause Mack Bolan aka Striker carried one!

Beretta 93R, very cool gun, seen also in Desperado. Much more than a split sear. My Taurus is always after me to do the replica.

A little of topic, but is your posting regarding the techniques for shooting handguns, rifles, etc. still on the board somewhere?
