Now that we have that out of the way, anybody have any experience with Wolf .45ACP ammo in a Glock 21?

The price is right...

Edited for smiley and to note I'm JOKING.

1911's sukk?......har har har......

I got heaps of both Glocks and various 1911's.

For carry I go with a glock (36, 30 and 21 - depending on the weather)

For tinkering with and having a good time, I do the 1911 thing.

The best of both worlds.

Why would you carry a Block?
Oh Glock, I'm sorry keep getting them little plastic thingys mixed up!
1911's RULE! Always have, always will!
Leave the plastic for baby rattles!

LOL, who was it that said (referring to the 1911 vs. Glock argument), I thought I saw this topic twitch so let's make sure to BEAT IT TO DEATH! Or something real similar. Heheheh

If I wanted a plastic gun I'd go to a toy store. The 1911 is the single best combat or comp handgun in the world. If the combat tubbaware is so great why isn't it use by any serious comp shooters, and only a few special units around the world ( None of which are Americans ). I'll match my 1911 against any Glock going. Semper Fi and God Bless

Plastics are toys for little boys!

<lol>, Hey, guys, I have maybe 45k tied up in 1911's myself, but when you positively, absolutely need it to go bang, Glock is it.

Plastic and all.

Welcome to the 21st century!

Glock Vs. 1911...again? Put it this way, they are better than each other and in differant ways. I like them both, so I am not going to argue with myself anymore. Take the one you want, I'd be happy with what you dont.

Only the ones in .45 LOL!!!!!!!!!!
Link Posted: 10/14/2001 6:51:30 PM EDT
quit yourbitching the glock is a 230gr projectile launcher.......goes bang every time..
the 1911 uses cheap mags will run lead ammo most of us have a couple of both...
Link Posted: 10/14/2001 7:21:02 PM EDT
I had a G21. They are OK for what you get.
1911...designed by JMB. Serious guns for serious situations.

1911s suck?!?

They had made a name for them selves YEARS befor they even found out that you could shoot real ammo out of toy guns.......now that we have that out of the way

Did you really think you'd get an answer on the Wolf 45acp question with a topic heading like that?

Not really, but you know the 1911 vs Glock was destined to be posted shortly. That's why I made the "now that we have that out of the way" comment. Maybe I should start a Glocks sukk! thread and see what happens.

OK the 1911 thing was a little screwy but now you are just getting out of control. I think it is time for you medication. Calm yourself already.

I'm out of medication. The voices are telling me I need to buy one of those (sweet...) Dan Wesson .357's!

In what context do you mean "1911's suck"? Perhaps they suck when you place your mouth over the ejection port and inhale deeply? Just a guess! My Kimber doesn't suck at all.

Hrmm I still think Plastic is fantastic. throw that i911 overboard in the sea and get it out in 3 months and let it air dry and examine all the fine metal you have to scrub and clean to get that rust off! Oh and lemmie see a glock you could strip all the lubricant off, pee on it and fire it w/o any problems for a few thousand rounds. lemmie guess all you guys that hate plastic....you have any vinyl siding on your house?? Or would you rather spend 4 times as much for woos siding that does the same thing that needs more maintence??

But I have to say I do like those telephone pole gripped 1911's!

In my eyes they are both nice guns, but I think the glocks come out a little bit ahead from a side by side comparison, of features maintence, and price.

Oh and for wolf I wouldnt even shoot it in an AR. IMO its cheap dirty and not reloadable. Use S&B or CCI Blazers for a good value target ammo not considering to reload, just factory ammo. Blazers are alum. casings and s&b isnt all that great of brass.

And also external Safties are for sissies! <--Spelling?

Lets save the Wolf arguments for the ammo forum. As a matter of fact I am going to start that over there now.
Link Posted: 10/23/2001 5:11:35 PM EDT
The new G36 looks interesting. But as for all those other "Blocks" they're "thick as a brick". No IWB CCW Blocks till now. "Drastic Plastic" is for Rambo's and other "keyboard commandos". And keep the Russian ammo in the Russian guns! My AK's all love Wolf my AR's and pistols don't! Wait'll I get that CZ52 and start shooting those 7.62x25's!!!

My wife, while being a professional medical doctor, hardly ever wears anything tasteful. She is into being slightly outrageous, and frankly, I don't think tha tthe guys on here could take seeing the likes of my wife in some of her get-ups. If I didn't love her so much, I would keep her in the house (pregnant) all the time.

My Ruger P90 loves Wolf .45 ammo. It eats it up just like it was Federal. I don't lose much accuracy with wolf either.
