I just picked up a BHP clone by Indian Ordiance as part of a trade, and after running 5-6 mags through it the front sight fell off and was lost amongst the brass/crap on the ground at an outdoor range.  The guy I got it from was very appoligetic, and has offered to replace the front sight.  

Its a clone of a BHP MK1A.  Any ideas as to where I can get a front sight for it?  Egunparts.com has about 8 million different BHP sights, and I have no idea which to buy.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to get a front sight for an "Inglis" HiPower you can proably get one from Marstar in Canada or possibly from "Gun Parts" by Numrich in NY. The Indian is a clone of the Inglis HP.


This happened to mine once, fortunetly it just came off in my hand during cleaning. It was just not peened properly. I put it back in took a peening punch and tapped it in place and that was that. Good Luck.
