Good job of fitting . . . They really look good don't they.

Since I'm off tomorrow I'm going to check the fit of mine on a couple of other HP's so see how the fit is by model. I'll post a thread on the results asap.

Question for you- these are pretty thin right? I'm looking for some really thin grips to put on my Hi-Power (provided I can get it running right as per my thread on needing a gunsmith ). Don't know why as I've got pretty big hands, but I like thin grips.

I need to get mine quick, I shot the .40 with those rediculous MKIII grips with the ambi thumb bulges or whatever they are, and it more or less sucked. Very hard to hold it like a 1911 when you have predetermined spots on the grips where youre fingers are supposed to go, they make for a lower grip. I cant wait for the gunners.

Yes. They are thin. I spec'd that Christine (or her machinist really) to make them as thin as G10 will allow. They're not as thin as Navidrex micartas (nothing is), but they are definitely thinner than the factory grips.

I received the Gunners last week and installed them with minor fitting on a T-series. I have Gunners on a 1911A1 and a Commander and really like them.

I was surprised to find that the BHP Gunners were significantly thicker than the FN plastic military grips I had on it. The Gunners made the BHP feel like a Beretta Eww. The Gunners also made it difficult to engage the safety without shifting my grip. The FN grips are back on it and Christine OKed sending them back. Glad some folks like them, they're just not for me.

Well, I got mine in today. They look great, and are going to require a tiny bit of fitting to work on my forged frame practical. I can tell you this tho, they weigh sooo much less than those fucking pachmayr's did. I need to get to fitting.....

UPDATE: They are on. Damn, these grips rock. Browning was an egronomic genius, and these gunners just make this pistol even better. It took about 10 minutes of filing with a file on my little multitool per side. Nothing major....

These were WELL worth $65.
