Didn't realize they were so under represented in the holster world.

Looking for a nice IWB for the one I have coming. Normally prefer kydex

Suggestions?

It's not Kydex (and I personally don't like Kydex), but the Wild Bills Concealment Covert Carry works great with a Hi Power.

The positon of the clip keeps the profile thin and keeps the butt tucked in close to your hip.

It's also comfortable and it's well made, with a reinforced mouth that allows the pistol to be readily re-holstered with the holster still inside the waistband.

It's also a tuckable design so it can be worn under a polo shirt or a dress shirt without a jacket for business casual wear.

After fiddling around I found a few. I went complete blasphemy with a appendix rig holster in kydex. My last honest attempt at appendix before I give up on that for ever.

Id love the milt sparks, but that sort of wait time for something I don't know Im going to keep isn't going to happen

A local guy made my kydex for my 1911, he no longer does work. While net surfing I saw the exact holster Im wearing over at squared away customs. My local guy confirmed he sold the design to them. So I may go ahead and order one of these too as I know it works well for a 3 oclock IWB holster.

A Hi Power isn't very appendix carry friendly unless you plan on standing all day long.

Ive got buddies who AWIB G17/19 with lights.

But Im right there with you, never could get it to work fine for me with various holsters. Comfort wasn't the issue as much as concealability was.

I know the owner of this company and wanted to give his design an honest shot before I gave up on appendix.

I have a holster similar to the summer special shown above that I will use until I have something specific come in.

There are some folks here, and some holster manufacturers, who will tell you that a 1911 holster is fine.  I carried a BHP for several years and found that the 1911 holsters almost fit.  Some of the semi-custom ones with tensioning screws can be acceptable.  But a BHP is slightly thinner than a 1911, except for the grip area.

If someone suggests a 1911 holster, they probably don't have or carry a BHP.  Except for the $15 nylon. gun show special guys.

I know itll fit in my holster similar to the summer special from Milt Sparks. I think its a Desantis however. As I do own a hi power, and have used that holster in a pinch before. Itll only be used in the mean time

But I would much rather have a dedicated and purpose built holster for sure.

Speaking of which, Im starting to wonder where my BHP is

I carry my HP and G19 in an Alien Gear 3.0. Fantastic holster. My Crossbreed SuperTuck was okay, but I'll be putting that up for sale.

You pulled the trigger huh?
What did you buy?

CompTac has several IWB kydex models for the BHP.
The Infidel, 2 O'clock, M-Tac and C-Tac are all available for the Browning.
Everything I've bought from them has shipped within 2 weeks and fit and build have been excellent.

By the way, their FBI cant OWB Paddle is an awesome easy onn, easy off setup for the BHP.
Surprisingly concealable.

Trex arms side car.

I met this guy a few years back and he was full of energy and an all around great guy. Obviously he uses that holster. I also have a friend I've shot with for years who's making rounds in the industry now who using that holster and raves about it.

Figure I'll try one last time for appendix with this gun being a tad bit smaller than a 1911.

Lol he did say it was the first BHP they've ever made. Well when they do make it that is

I would say try it first.  I used two or three different Galco 1911 holsters to carry a BHP off duty for a few years.  Don't ask which ones as it was 20 years ago.  But they did in fact work.  As did an Eagle IWB in nylon.

I think I showed you the Garrett Silent Thunder OWB I have in another thread.

They make an Appendix IWB that is leather lined kydex as well.  If its anything like mine, the quality will be world-class.

Do you guys think there is a market for HP holsters?  I've been building 1911 holsters for a while now, and just finished customizing my newly aquired Izzy HP, so I will be building it a custom holster or 3 as well, just curious what market was out there.

All of my life I've really hated IWB holsters because they are so uncomfortable. Until I discovered this one last year, which is the only IWB holster I will wear.

I bought Privateer's version of the Askins Avenger a while back and was well pleased with the quality, form and function.  I'd buy one again, if that says anything.

If the OP would consider a leather IWB, the Alessie Talon Plus, or Ritchie Nighthawk are worth looking at.

Dredging up an old thread to say +1, I now have a pair of his "cutthroat" models, one for a full size and one made for my FM detective.  As the owner of several genuine Sparks Versamax II holsters I will echo that this guy's work is less than half the price, less than half the wait, and in my opinion actually greater quality.  I would consider this line a no brainer if you are looking for BHP leather.

This is the OWB holster I bought for my BHP from El Paso Saddlery.  No tooling on mine, and I only use it during the winter.

C-Tac

ETA: I've owned several of their holsters, they make a fine product.

Roughly a two month lead time in the custom leather holster world is a pretty good lead time.  Go ask how long it takes to get a Milt Sparks holster if you order from them.  Ask about Kramer too.  Privateer's prices are decent too.
