I've found a very nice looking cz-75b for sale. It is 9mm, wonder finish 93-95% 1 10rd mag, no box-docs. Price is $279+tx no wiggle room. I've always heard good things and it fit my hand very well. I don't have a 9mm yet. And finally with rolling eyes my wife gave me no shit about buying it. I've just decided to take a 1day step back and think. How's the price? That may be the deciding factor. Thanks.

Sounds fair. CZs are great pistols.

Well after your input and further consideration, I got it. I went back and talked to a different guy about it. He was able to find the factory boxeS, papers, other mag, mag loader, bore brush and jag all like new. All that and take off $10. So after cleaning and further inspection, it's been fired some but not a ton. The only mark on the gun is a 1mm pinpoint scratch in the paint on the frontstrap, I'd call it 97% for under $300 OTD.

Off to the range with 2 wal-mart valu-packs. Every round downrange, generally where I intended them to be. Need more mags, think I'll order 4 from cdnn. It only has one 10rd and one 15rd. The factory target was fired in '96, it shows a 6.2cm (@2.5") group with S&B ammo.

It fits my hand like a mold, runs like a clock and the looks are really growing on me. Needs new grips and maybe an action job, but really the trigger is decent for a service pistol.

Thanks for convincing me to do what I already knew I wanted to do.

um i think its actually 16 rounds in the mag not 15. iirc the compact lost 2 rounds from the full size.

New OEM and aftermarket mags are 16rds, but older vintage was 15rds. Mine is a '96.

Mec-Gar is the factory mag supplier for CZ, that's a hint.

Hakan Pek makes some beautiful grips. Hakan Pek

I bought the factory checkered rubber grips for my 75's and love 'em.

I found the Hogue grip for the 75b incredibly comfortable. Probably the 2nd thing people compliment me on when they shoot it (#1 is the satin finish).
