This was my first ever CZ. Absolutely fell in love. I shoot it better than any other handgun I've ever owned. I actually sold my VP9 as I prefer CZ's so much. I love the lean front end. I'm not a huge fan of the 07's and 09's but I'm coming around.

The C100 is quite a value for $329 at Academy

Just picked up these 2 in the last month. The first is a Tristar (Canik) C100. It's a pretty damn good clone. Light aluminum frame and I prefer the safety to the decocker. I dressed it up a little. I have some Trijicon night sights I'm throwing on. The other CZ75B was a used one I found. Dated 2011 but doesn't even look like it's been shot. Already had night sights. I just bought the wood grips. They've all been 100% with any ammo put through them.

There's just something about the lines of the CZ75B. It's one of the best looking handguns made.

I really like that flashlight on your Scorpion, sir! The angled button clears the charging handle nicely.

This isn't new by any means, but she just got a fresh rebuild by Cajun Gun Works in Monroe, LA.

Compared to everyone on the internet, I suck at shooting, but this is one of many similar groups at 20 yards standing. SA trigger is so nice I was hitting this same target at 20 yards weak hand only and I am NOT ambidextrous!

Just as a small update, I spoke with CZUB about the history of CZ75 #01002.

It appears it is indeed the second production gun. The only one listed before it is 01001.

01002 was shipped from the factory to West Germany in January of 1976.

I was talking with a friend about this gun and possible reasons why it would have been sent to West Germany in 1976, and with a big smile on his face he sent me this:

That is an article about the new pistol from CZ. It is from April 1976.

And the coolest thing is that the featured pistol is CZ75 01002. That's why it left the factory and was sent to West Germany.

Gun collecting is fun.

Awesome back story, I'd have a hard time deciding between mounting it in a nice display box with nice printouts of that article as a wall hanger...

I love the color of the "urban grey" that CZ is cerakoting their new pistols with. It comes close (obviously still a bit off) to matching the "urban dark earth" that Larue Tactical uses. Sorry for the crappy iphone pics. Beretta is just thrown in for the lulz, and since it's similar to the CZ to compare the two. These are three of my favorite guns and the CZ ranks in my top three production handguns of all time, and I've shot a lot of handguns.
