A CZC Shadow CUSTOM is $1,300. What you bought is a basic SP-01 Shadow, only a duo tone. The black version of what you bought is usually $800-$900. Price floats around some.

This.

CZC sells the Shadow for 880 and the duo tone for 920.

Nice sale on the duo tone though, I'm tempted.  I heard the slides on those are blued.

I would say, even at $829 I got a damned good deal.
It needs some tuning, but I dont think I will have to do too much to it.

I have it in pieces and started the polishing.

Going to respring everything.

Not sure I am going to swap out any parts, just yet. Gonna play with it and see how it feels. I dont want to get that "AR15 buffer spring" feel to it that CZC seems to out out. I dont like that feeling, and can deal with a bit heavier pull.

The ext. safety does not need any fitting like the SP-01 did, so that's a plus.

The Nitro Fin will be in Friday.

Have to order the dovetail mount this week. Not in a big rush for this, as the LGS does not have any SROs in stock. Hopefully next week.

Going to use that time to figure out which Lok grips I am getting, color wise. The palm swells seem to be working out very well for me. Just not sure what color I want to go with it. Maybe just flat black.
I may not change the colors on this. I will make up my mind when the black Nitro Fin is installed, on the Sparkly silver frame.

Coming from Open, the SRO being a bit higher mounted than milling, seems to be working very well for me.  I have never really been better than 1.3- 1.4 seconds coming out of the holster and putting one in the A zone, I dont really have any issue with my presentation, so I dont really see the need to mill the slide. The CZ Customs dovetail mount is of pretty damn good quality and has been holding its own. That is, once I decided to put loctite on things.

I keep updating the progress on this one and take more pics, if yall want. Hoping what I do can help others in the process.

Go for it! yes it is even legal on Production.....*IF* you take about 1 mm off of it. It will fit in the box that way. However, since CO guns do NOT (and cant anyways) have to fit in the box, its 100% legal without question.
It passed muster at La Gator a few weeks ago, and that is a Major Match.

If you do order it, tell them "The guy with the manly Kia Soul sent me".

Oh, we are so close to this new one being competed.

I can wait to shoot a match with it!
Trigger is a wee bit different than the SP-01 Not in a bad way, just different.
Both are around 4# DA, 2'ish SA, smooth and crisp. Take up is a bit different, reset a hair longer, but less pre travel, the first wall before you hit the DA strike.

I left the stock hammer in this one, did not do anything in the sear cage. Just polished everything to a mirror finish, ext. firing pin, 10 lb hammer spring, reduced power trigger return spring, firing pin spring is lighter too.....I dont know what it is, but it is from a 9lb  Wolf recoil spring kit I had laying around. I also need to see if I have another 9lb recoil spring laying around. This steup works REALLY well for the ammo I load. This one has the 11, and it works pretty well, but the SP-01 is running the 9#.

ETA: The extra wide safety fit pretty good. I did not have to fit it at all. I just tapped it out a wee bit and it works. Nitro fin does not lock the slide,BUT, with a bit of material removed, it will do so. I started on this and took me about an hour to remove a 1/4 of a mm....NO... LOL. I need to find a machine of some sort.....like a belt sander.

This really is the poster child for the OPEN POORS division.

A bit of an update on this last one.

Safety is dragging the slide.

I am having to fit this one too, but it is not as bad as the SP-01.

You can see here where I need to remove some material.

I got a sub $500 price on this one and Arms had the 507c on sale too....  one of those inbound.

This is for my EDC.
Shooting CO, this P10C makes sense fro me.

I have the P10F OR as a backup for my P09.  It's actually my second one.  Had to send the first one back due to it occasionally going full auto on me.  CZ said they couldn't fix it in a timely manner so sent me another one.

It's a great all around gun with an excellent trigger.  I'm waiting on Primary Machine to stock P10F threaded barrels so I can shoot it suppressed.    However, I still prefer my P09 more.  Feels even better in my hands and I shoot it more accurately.

I did forget, sorry

Have had this P10 out to the range a few times so far.

Its everythign a CZ is supposed to be. Can put one raggedy hole @ 10 or so yards and with a better shooter, 25 yards.
Best I can do is about 1 -1.5" group at that distance.
Pretty sure my eyes are going south as I have to close one of them to do it

I really like it and now I may duck out out of work and go sight it in

I saw a shadow 2 with red trigger and charcol/sniper grey cerakote. Saved the picture cause it looked so good.

Leave the slide and controls dark, red trigger with lok dual colored grips where the inner color is red so the very edge has a red trim to it.

I'm thinking red and black tiger stripe patterning, like the gold tiger striped Desert Eagle.

Since I have two SP-01 (One a Shadow 1), I think I will lay i tout as to where one is 100% the opposite of the other.

One:
From muzzle, across the top of the slide, down the back strap, up the finger area, under the slide (dust cover) and then the last 1" on the slide/frame.

One will be red with black, the other, black with red.

On the black frame sides, red controls, trigger, hammer, etc.. The other wold have black controls, hammer, trigger, etc.

One with red grips, gets a black frame, the one with black grips, gets a red frame.

Wish I had Photoshop to do it, but I do not and MS Paint would be stupid.

I think this may look pretty cool.

The P1-C is a pretty good EDC, so lets play with a full size

Came with 3 mags, and I bought a 4th.

I dont have a competition holster for this, so CompTac for the win along with 4 Hennings baseplates.

CZ USA is sending me an optics plate (2 actually).

I found a local fella selling a Holosun 507C at a good enough price.

Got to spend some time with this thing yesterday afternoon.

Its actually not too bad. CZ accuracy, meaning way more capable than I am.
Got the SRO zeroed (25 yards)

Then ran it through some quick fire on steel and some paper.
100% bone stock, and trigger is as such. She was plenty fast, easy to make transitions, draw, and was not too bad to manage recoil.
I ran some 147 gr subs at first. With stock springs, it functioned as should, but the recoil was a bit "sluggish". Not the slide, but overall.

Rolled some 124 JHP subs the night before, now these loads work really well in this pistol. Seemed to minimize the felt recoil much better.

Very easy to get a good double tap in the A zone. Good combo IMHO. Since I will be shooting this for a couple of months, and realizing I really like the 124gr better than the 147gr, this pistol may just work out pretty well.

Couple of the idiots I shoot with showed up and, well, it started. Someone break out a timer and the shit talking begins. Next thing you know, 50 yard and a steel plate gets brought up, right along with 100 yards and a plate rack.

Yes, the P10F has the ability to do this. I was using the 147gr and hit the 10" square at 50 with no issue.
Plate rack at 100....If I di my part, no problem.
1st plate got knocked over on the 2nd shot (standing shot), 2nd plate on the 3rd shot (from the bench).

So I would tell anyone to get this thing. Its pretty impressive.

I will take it on an actual match today. Lets see how it goes.

2nd outlaw match with this plastic crap trigger pistol.

It really is not all that bad. I am not a huge fan of striker fired pistols, but I dont dislike them enough t to not own them.

This is what the pistol is capable of from a high B class shooter. I am 72% of the best in the country, which means I am pretty shitty

Thought I would drop an update, just out of sheer boredom.

Still have not received my SP-01 back from the miller . Hopefully this week?

Got really tired of the P10F as a competition pistol, so have not been too motivated to shoot it an any matches. Its a great gun, but not for trying to blaze it fast.

I was browsing around some of the other gun forums and ran across a Shadow 2 that was all dolled up by Fire 4 Effects. Offered the seller a trade deal and he took it!

I have no completed my 75 Series Collection.

SP-01
Shadow 1
(a couple other 75 series)

and now a tricked out Shadow 2

Milled and topped with a DPP 2.5 MOA. I like it almost as good as the SRO. SRO has the win just because of the ease of use when making adjustments. Other than that the 2.5 MOA is adequate
Weight reduction milled .
Fully Cajunized with about a 3# SA and about a 4# DA pull.
It had some OK grips on it, but I like the LOK brass Palm Swells better.
I used one of my extra Nitro Fins in place of the stock slide stop. Took a LOT of fitting as the slide rails on the S2 are much thicker.
Replaced the 18# recoil spring with a 12lb.  Tried to use the 9# but WAY too light on the S2. I am running 1025 FPS 124gr. right at 127 power factor.

I am very happy with it and this may be in a regular rotation for matches as it is pretty close to the other ones.

Since I feel obligated to enter crap here........

One thing I have found out is CZ is not very consistent with machining. The chamber on this barrel is TIGHT.

Cost me a 15 second penalty at a match this past weekend. I can visually tell on my case gauge what rounds will go and which ones wont..... so I thought.

Had one round get jammed up pretty good and had a time getting it out.

I did finish High 2 Gun Open though.

had a 2 place stage and a 6th place

10th overall.

I think this screw up cost me about 3 slots
