Is there any difference between the two besides the "Duty"?

More refined Gen2 kind of dehorned, front cocking serrations, lots of minor improvements with the Gen2 over the Gen1.

Beaver tail shorter
Different hammer
Different trigger shoe
Front serrations
Sharp edges removed
Sights different (metal not plastic)
Replaceable back straps
Slightly different metal finish.

I've shot both, and the new version IMHO is much better.

I had the first one..... piece of shit. Traded it at a loss for a regular 75B in .40 S&W and never looked back.

There is some slight amount of difference in the trigger guard.

I have a DUTY P07 (great gun - convinced me to buy more CZs) and bought a couple CZ P07 specific holsters for them.  I eventually bought a newer P07 and it would not lock into either holster like the DUTY pistol would.  We had to remove the lock on one holster and shave some material of the front of the locking piece so that it would pivot inwards and "grab" the trigger guard to lock the pistol into the holster.

Not a big deal, just a small difference.

If I were to run across a DUTY P07 in 9MM (mine's a .40 S&W) for good price, I'd have to pick it up.  Don't need it, but mine has been flawless in reliability and accuracy and the internals are bone stock.

CZ said they improved the polymer used on the duty, also.

The A serial designations had frame bulge issues.
Not a Cz expert...

Anyone know where to find a P-07 duty 9mm? Can't seem to find one in stock.

You're not going to find any new "duty" P-07s. They're the old style. Replaced by the "non" duty designated new model.

Oops. Forgot about this thread.

Figured it out yesterday, then promptly ordered one from the iammo deal posted in another thread.

A P-07 should compliment my P-01 nicely.
