I picked up a Shadow 2 instead:

Went to the fun show looking for a P10C. The same vendor had a Shadow 2 that stuck itself to my hand.

The trigger is nice!

Hopefully, I can get it to the range early this week.

I know I'll get crap for this but I think you made the right choice. I know everyone wants a p10 but I like the cz's as they are. Metal frames and hammer fired.

I agree. I had both on preorder and i was more excited to get the S2 than the P10 and im glad i got the S2 first. I dont shoot my striker guns nearly as much compared to my hammers but im still excited for the P10. I wanted to use it as a duty gun

$510 unless I bought both and then it was going to be $490.

Indeed.

Never expected to see one at the show, there was only one other CZ in the place and that was a 75BD Police. Turner's had a black P-10 too, I was holding out hoping for the FDEs to be released soon.

Trigger gauge time

Average of 10 pulls

Shadow

DA 10lb 9oz
SA 4lb 1oz

Shadow 2

DA 9lb 6oz
SA 3lb 8oz

The trigger gauge cannot measure how smooth the Shadow 2 overall trigger action is.

The Shadow 2 is wider

That's the only reasonable explanation I can think of. I don't have a scale but it feels quite bit heavier in the hand also.

OP.

The trigger on that only upper rig needs to work. Spending money on a trigger for that is kinda like flushing the toilet after filling it with fine scotch.

The pistol below it, well that Shadow is supposed to be a good gun.

First 100 rounds downrange tonight with the Shadow 2.

Ammo was Speer Lawman 9mm 147 grain and it functioned without issue.

No holster yet so I started at 25 yards to check POA/POI and it shot to point of aim with no adjustment needed.

Once I settled in, the weight combined with the enhancements make it rock solid on target and it was as accurate as anything I've ever shot.

The only limitation appeared to be the shooter.

I'll grab some 124 grain S&B, if available, and see how well it likes that.

Good choice, I will be getting the P10 C as I am poor lately milk jug for Shadow 2 is very low on spare change at this point, but some day it will be mine.

I did not, The dealer had all his CZs inside a wooden display box while all his other pistols were on the table. The P10 popped into view first and then I saw the Shadow 2 and went, "ooohhhh, please let me see that."

That was all she wrote.

It's incredible how fast and accurate he is.

He's an easy guy to learn from, IMO. There's no word salad or anything other than fundamentally sound shooting.

The most eye opening part of the day was when we were in a line at 15 yards, all of us had 150 rounds through the target so there's a good idea of where and how well everyone was shooting. We presented our pistols with a good stance and grip while Bob shot a 10 round group while we held the pistol.

His trigger finger combined with the student holding the pistol shot better groups than anything I had seen put to paper by a student at that point in time.

Arg, I said yes to the P10c (for a bit more than yer fun show price), and then when I stopped in at my local FFL they had a Shadow 2 and I almost openly wept. It was wonderful. Oh to have waited a little bit longer! Cash jar only has so much and for some reason the self-replenishing lever seems to always be broken
