I bought one of the extended safeties.  Do you have instructions on how to install?  I'm not sure how to get the factory one off.

Contacted GP about extended safeties directly based on feedback from Canuck223 and they sent them right out.  The current safeties on the pistols as delivered pop right out and then the new ones pop right on.  Super upgrade.  They have a lot of meat on them which would allow a user to trim them down if wanted.  Excellent service.

Field strip as normal.

Pop out the slide stop pin.
Press out the roll pin at the back of the grip.
Lift up the frame insert slightly.
With the hammer back, rotate the safety up.
With your fingernails or a thin blade between the lever and the grip, pull the safety lever straight out.
Push the cylinder and the other cap out the opposite side.
