Already have the .40! Actually like it better than the .45! I'm waiting for the compact in .40 thats when I'll get excited!

Over on the XD talk forum, there have been several discussions on the XD45. I'll bet the gun is significantly larger than the current XD line up, and you can bet it will be a double stack in anticipation of the AWB sunset. I'll definitely buy one. I can handle the bulky Glock 20; I'm sure the XD will be more ergonomical.

I almost bought a Glock (shudder), but I wrote Springfield and asked them if it were true about them offering a .45 in their XD model and the reply was "Yes, sometime in 2004." So, thankfully I didn't buy the Glock and now I can keep my .45's all Springfield.
