I put an XD40 (all black) on layaway while I shop around just to "secure it". While shopping around I found an XD9 with a green grip and black slide. I prefer the .40 since I already own another .40 and prefer the power, but the green xd9 looks so cool. Is the drop in caliber worth the green? I know this is a petty question, but I am stuck. Only if I could find a .40 in green.

If you don't have a 9mm, I can't think of a better way to go than the XD9. Get both!

I went ahead and bought the all black .40... AND I convinced my wife she needed one in 9mm. Maybe in another month or so I will pick it up for "her"

I have nothing but good things to say about my XD9. It's a pleasure to shoot.

I have an XD40 Service Model. I would get the XD9 in subcompact for concealed carry and shooting ammo fun. So, In other words, get both!
