Some have speculated that the ILS mainspring assembly, uses a shorter & stiffer spring than standard parts, casusing a heavier trigger pull. Anyone know for sure. Anyone replace their ILS parts with USGI spec parts and notice a charge in the trigger feel?

Edited for UPDATED information.

I sawpped out the ILS parts for a Smith & Alexander mainspring housing, and Wilson Combat Mainspring, caps, & retainer. This simple parts swap resulted at least a 1 pound reduction in trigger pull weight.

PS..
Anyone want to buy a like new ILS assembly?

I've heard this also.

I have two SA's with this system.  I'm planing on changing the main spring housing and getting trigger jobs anyway.
