Has anyone tried a Beretta 92 17rd mag in an XD9?  I saw an add from Springfield claiming that these mags will fit.  If so, was there any alteration necessary on the mag to make it fit?  Thanks for the information.

Also, I did try an XD40 mag in my gun and it works ok...the mag lips need to be bent a bit to make the rounds stay in the mag better and reloading easier.  I can only get 14rds in the mag with a lot of effort though.
