My son's Southpaw isn't a terrible DA, it just kicks like a mule b/c of the aluminum frame. |

The big rounded grips keep it where it should be in my hands. All other snubbies with small little grips try to rock back and tilt up when fired. So the hammer pretty much ends up in the web of my hand and I have to adjust my grip. The factory wood grips on the 206 look like they would make it hard to keep a good hold. |

These are even more rare than N frame snubby M24-3 Lew Horton Specials (scored one 3 years ago!) I was hunting an M25 like yours but gave up after 2 years of searching for the grail .45ACP Revo and decided a .44Special snubby Revo M 24-3 is an acceptable substitute. Those "Combats" look sick and belong on your M-25 if you ask me... They are going for over $300 a set on GB and eBay as of 3 years ago and probably even more now. Pic of my favorite Revolver... |

I literally just finished the set on Thursday so haven't shot it yet. Even with hot 158gr loads I don't expect much trouble. I shoot a 629 Mountain Revolver (tapered barrel) and wood boot grips with full power 240gr loads which DOES sting...so in comparison the Python will be just fine. The trick is to sand down the bark so your palm sinks into the cracks, but the high points that might sting are gone. |
