Picked up the Model 60 this morning for Magnum Monday. I have a thing for 3” .357s.

The SP101 will handle hotter magnum loads though, so I guess it's up to you and what you're primary intent is with it. Either one is a great choice and I don't think you could go wrong if you chose either one. Although I like shooting the Model 60 more, if you told me I could only keep one of the two it would be the SP101. The way that thing is built it will be around long after my grandkids are gone. The SP101 has a decent rear sight. It's just fixed and not adjustable. It is also much less susceptible to damage, which is important on a carry piece.

I accidentally had it sent to the ex's residence...who sent it back to Turkey I'm not sure I can wait two months to get it. I may just order a 3" K frame Desantis. The Turkish guy's handle is "tickdong," which is a bit weird, but I like how the holster secures over the grip, rather than the non existent hammer spur. |
