Nope. As long as I've been here stateside, which is roughly 5 years. You know how I love primarily the old stuff

Would you mind giving us the run down on those?

The bottom one looks like an M&P like 20's and 30's? (K frame)  Possibly .38 Special but I do think they came in other calibers.

The top one looks like a Hand Ejector .44 Special.  (N frame)  But could be .455 Webley???    Converted to .45 ACP?

Spill the beans.  LOL.  I didn't realize you were into DA revolvers.  Do you ever shoot those?  I bet they are accurate and fun.  Eh?

One of the drawings I did is almost identical to your N frame.....  What are the chances?  LOL.  I did it from a pic of a member on Smith and Wesson Forum.   Yet another coincidence to our online bromance.  LOL.

My brother has one, but that's not him. Imma need you to give me the name on that guy. He's a old coon and I bet I got his number. I need a 2.5 inch 66!

Qualed yesterday with the 4 inch 686 and Winchester 145 grain Silvertips that I squirreled away. The guys on the line got tired of mud blowing off the berm and raining down on them.

My S&W Model 544 Texas Train Wagon Commemorative in .44-40 would be a fun gun for a match or two.

The grips have a birthday of May 27, 1986.

5"six shot N Frame in .44-40. Like Dirty Harry, but classy.

Don't they have to put the caliber on the barrel or somewhere?  I sure don't see .44-40 anywhere in the pics.

Never mind... I see it now.  I'm used to seeing it on the right side and it's on the left.

A bunch of new pics today, new grip pics!

Altamont Ropers (Rosewood) on a Model 14-4.  These grips are fantastic!!!  I can't wait until they are available for N frames.

New set of Culinas for my 29-2 four inch.  Paired with my 29-6 six inch, also wearing a set of Culinas.  The grips on both guns are Turkish Walnut with a Tung Oil finish.

That looks fantastic!

Is that an actual parkerization job or did you just spray it or what?  Was that a buds gun?

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It is indeed one from buds listed in the 'poor condition' for a bit cheaper. The bluing was terribly scratched and had some deep gouges in the frame. I disassembled it and sent it to John Thomas. He smoothed out the problem areas and scrubbed the PW Arms import marks and parked it. Decided to try the VZ grips and really love them. Only put a box through so far with no issues. Fun project and beater gun for me.

19-5 added to the collection. My just acquired 625 needed a friend apparently.

Edit: inside the box were two HKS speedloaders and a Tyler T grip. However if you can see, the grips are closed on the front. No scratch left for new grips

Those are really cool grips though.   But sure some magnas with Tylers would be pretty sweet on that gun too.

That is a very interesting gun.  One of my Son's video games has one just like it...  I forget which one.  One of the call of duty ones I think.  LOL.  Otherwise I would have never seen one like it.

Seems like it would be real heavy.  But probably very accurate......  ?

Is it a Ruger?  I can't really tell what it is..  it looks like a Ruger to me. I feel like the hammer shape, recoil plates and I think I see a faint line above the trigger on the frame that is shaped like a Ruger....

My small Smith and Wesson collection. The 686-4 was the first handgun I ever bought. If I had to have just one handgun that would be it. The model 15-3 belonged to my grandmother and the 640 was my backup gun for many years while I was on the street. Attachment Attached File

Got a smokin good deal at one of the big box stores for this 586 no dash. I paid $379 for this. I took it to the range to make sure it works. Still can't believe it!

Edit: That a reflection from the counter on the cylinder. It's not scratched. lol

It’s a -3. My grandmothers husband (not my grandfather) bought it for her sometime in the 70’s. When she passed away in 2001 the gun came to me. As far as I know it sat in her nightstand for 30 years. I’ve put a couple hundred rounds through it so far. The bluing is in really good shape. There were a few small rust spots on the cylinder from the cheap holster she kept it in. We couldn’t find the original box or paper work.

Thanks. Those were factory federal 158 JSP.

This was yesterday with my reloads 158 swc over 6.4 grains of unique. Should be right at 1100fps from a 4" barrel.

Went to the gun show this morning.  First gun show in many years.  I now have one less plastic pistol, and one more S&W 44.  This one is a nickel 21-4, 44 Special.
