I am in the market for a .357 and have decided to get a Colt.  I am looking for something with a 4" or 3" barrel, most likely a Python.

I'd love to see pics of your Colts.  I have only handled one King Cobra, and it was more a work of Art than a gun.

PeteCO: The Colt King Cobra/Anaconda are the production line guns, the Python is literally handbuilt production gun.

I have a 4" King Cobra, it is funny you call it a work of art, I polish mine with nev'r dull.  It shoots like a dream though, I picked it up for $290.  I would say you can't go wrong.

3" Pythons are going to be VERY hard to find. I think there were only two runs, one of 300 and one of 200.  2 1/2"s are far more common even though they are not in current production.

4"s are probably the most common of the shorter tubes.
