Thats damn near a perfect combo for woods living. Ive spent many months living/hiking/hunting/canoeing/feeding me and my dog with a Canadian centennial and a single six up north.

Thank you.

I've already fired a couple of cylinders full of smokeless powder loads. Probably little if any black powder. That stuff is the shits to clean off of and out of a revolver.

Yes, but we do know that; much better to see a potato picture of a great SAA than not seeing any SAA at all.

Philosophic, huh? That's what you get on Fridays.

Thanks!

This is my "Grail Gun" that I have been wanting ever since I was a kid growing up watching cowboy movies. A lot of the inspiration to get this particular pistol comes from the writings of Skeeter Skelton and Elmer Keith......

A man after my own heart. My "assortment" of Smith and Wessons is largely due to writing of Mr Skelton and Mr Keith.

My favorite handguns are 44 mags, my two favorite rifle calibers are 45-70 and 338 Win Mag. I'm sure you can see the influence :)

I bought the rig from Tonto Rim Trading Co. years ago during my Chicago interval. They called it 'The Duke' and is a replica of the exact rig he wore in many movies. It's stamped Tombstone Leather, San Diego CA. Tonto Rim's website doesn't have a listing for gunleather anymore. They seem to have shrunk their offerings considerably.

ETA- Tombstone still has it!! Here!! Seems reasonable at $225 for the belt & holster.

It don't matter. Wear it everywhere - under the shower, in bed, while eating. It's too gorgeous not to.

And it's a true heritage item of our amazing country, good Sir.

Wear it with pride - she's stunning
