My latest Ruger acquisition. DAO P89, Hogue wood grips and stainless grip screws. It came with the original out and inner cardboard boxes plus all paperwork. This particular serial number doesn't even show up on Ruger's serial number list, but a guy over at the Ruger forum told me it was made in 1992. It falls in between the 85 MKII and 89. I used to have a standard P89 and the DAO pull is a lot better on this than it is on the standard model. The beginning of the actual pull and reset go pretty far back as you can see in the second picture. I see no need for the P95 trigger upgrade on the DAO model.

GP100 vintage 1988-89.  Looks to be an under the seat of the pickup gun.   And,  I'm sure I paid too much.

My new to me Ruger Super Blackhawk in .44 Magnum. Traded my Glock 19.4 for everything in the picture. Feel like I did good.

Updated.

Removed rail and replaced rear sight with a 3 MOA Vortex Venom in a Burris Fastfire dovetail mount.

My latest Ruger MK pistol.  MK IV 22/45 Tactical

Just finished installing a Volquartsen Accurizing kit sans the trigger. I used the Tandemkross Victory trigger instead. Trigger pull weight is 2lbs give or take 1oz. Measured with a Lyman digital trigger pull gauge.
The sight is a Leupold Deltapoint Pro, 3 MOA.  My old eyes likes pistols with red dot's these days.

Picked up this SR40 for essentially ~$240 (came with at least $55 worth of ammo and I sold the universal Crimson Trace that was on it). Very happy with it, would have preferred the compact but couldn't pass up the deal. Beats carrying my IWI Baby Desert Eagle II any day of the week, thinner, lighter, and 3 more rounds. Very happy with how it shoots.

I just wanted to show off my Rugers. They are nothing special but they are some of my favorite guns.

The GP100 was my first revolver. I stupidly sold it but later got it back on a trade. The redhawk is my newest gun, and my first 44 magnum.

Did you ever get a can ?
Ifso what ?
I'm kicking the thought around about getting a ruger lite...haven't got very far as of yet though..i don't even know if the different lites are simply aesthetics or function differences.
I really like the ideal of a can on one..that would be a new experience aswell.

Thanks ,
R.

Picked this up last week at the Pawn shop

Put some Pachmyrs on it today.

Took it shooting.  I decided to name it the flaming pig.   Reminds me of John Malkovitch in RED,  "I never thought I'd say this again. I'm getting the pig!"
