Doing your part means keeping the thing cleaned an maintained. Unlike Glocks, they MUST be cleaned avery few hundred rounds or efter every shooting session. The springs must also be replaced every couple thousand rounds. Also, keep the thing well oiled.
As for the "floater mag", I've never heard that before, but I have noticed that the gun will sometimes jam up if you push the mag in while firing. I guess this means that the mag has somem play in it when installed. Check it out for yourself: Insert the mag and wiggle it up and down. If there is pressure applied to the base of the mag when the gun fires, the top of the mag will interfere with proper operation. To solve this problem, use the "combat grip" method with both hands around the grip (as opposed to using your weak hand to support the weapon from the bottom), or shoot one handed (this impresses chicks but leads to sore arms and possibly brass in the face).
