Anyone have a tactical HK light on their USP?

My USP pretty much stays in the bedroom for home defense now. I have trijicon night sites on it. I was thinking the other day that i would like to have a light mounted on it.

Is the light real bright?

Price?

Best place to buy?

thanks...

I have one for my USP.

Yes, the light is very bright.

You can pick one up for about $200 (or less)
Try over at www.hkpro.com

Or the Equipment Exchange board here.

I've got a tactical light on my USP.

I'd recommend it for home defense. The odds are good that any encounter you have will be in low light conditions. Target identification is critical in low light.

I know I wouldn't want to shoot a family member by mistake.

I would recommend a surefire tactical light. Mine is a 'Nitrolon'. If you've got the money the 'Millenium' is more powerful.

I've got the UTL II on mine. It lights up the night for sure.

I've done a couple of night fires with it and it is good to go.

You might want to look into GG&G's USP M3 adapter. It's an adapter that allows the USP to accept the M3 and M6 lights from ITI. The M3 is lighter and less expensive than the UTL.

I have that too, and it is as bright as my M900A.
