How difficult is to change the sights on my 45USPf?
I got a set of Trijicon and want to install them myself. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

You can do it yourself, no problem. I've done it several times.

What you need is a brass punch / hammer (every gun owner needs those!), and a vice with a non-marring block so that you don't damage the slide.

Field strip the gun, put the slide in the vice, tap the old sights out to the left (doesn't have to be to the left on H&K but it's good practice) , flip the slide over, tap the new ones in. You might find it's useful to deburr the dovetails before putting the new ones in.

Don't force anything. Go slow and easy.

OR, for a nominal fee you can have a gunsmith do it.

before you remove the sight, mark the relation of the sights to the slide so you next time you shoot it, it won't be off.

i soaked the sights with oil, pull out the brass punch and a small brass hammer.
tap...tap... repeat until the sight is off the slide. on my USP45, there's no need to deburr the dovetail in slide, as the slide is harder than the sights.
wipe oil away, put on some red locktite, put new sights in.
