I live in the wonderful state of CT and want a Mk23, are there "preban" (pre-1994) ones out there? Haven't really seen any. 

If a Mk23 is out of the question for me I'll be getting an HK45. I've fired one briefly but any owners opinions would be appreciated also. Thanks

I have wanted a MK 23 for as long as I can remember. After holding one, they are quite large and have a big grip. Everyone I spoke  to that has one says a USP or HK45 can do the same job. Funny though when I ask them if they want to sell the MK23 they own, they always turn me down.
