So I finally got a newer USP compact 45 and its a de-cocker only model.  I dont want to LEM it but I was thinking about getting a match trigger in it.  Is this possible and can I put a safety on it?  I know this is a noob ques but I figured this was a good place to find out answers.  Thank you!

Very easy to do. You'll just need to swap out the detent plate that's parts of the safety/decocker mechanism. There's a few youtube videos with step by step instructions.

I don't think the match trigger will fit on a compact.
But a light trigger return spring, and a few other parts like lighter mainspring will fit. Possibly match flat spring.
But the trigger on a USP compact should already be pretty good.

I have a V1 detent (safety/decocker). I have no use for a safety. I'll trade you if you want for your V3 (decoder only) detent if that's what you have.
