Here's my Colt 1911 Texas BBQ gun.   The german silver grips were handmade by an inmate at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.  The pancake holster and gun rig were also made at the prison.

The Colt 1911 collection so far:

The top left is my wife's 9mm XSE Lightweight Commander. She loved the grip panels on my Wiley Clapp, so I found a set on eBay and installed them for her. The Government model is a stainless .38 Super with Altamont walnut grips. All have Harrison triggers. The Commanders also have Harrison retro thumb safeties.

Picked up my Colt 1911 Wiley Clapp CCO
Posted in the 1911 section, figured I would post here too.

I love the size of this gun, perfect fit/grip and points excellent.  Weight is on point as well.

Shoots great.  Picked up 5 more 7 round magazines.  No feed issues with any of them.

I just picked this up today. It's a Colt custom shop Rail Gun. All tool steel internals, Pete Single 20 LPI checkering and rounded MSH, spec'ed out by the custom shop director for a 1 of 130 production run. Full custom shop build. I'm stoked.
