What can you tell me about it? I picked one up today for $449 used, has a few scratches on the frame. I figured since I have two kimbers I might a well have a colt.

Seems like a real good buy. Is that a stainless? I just sold one of mine for $600, and gave what I thought was a good deal on it. They have a firing pin safety, which with the extra moving parts, may hinder a primo let off. And some do not care for the collet barrel bushing for various reasons,(Friction and breakage). How does it shoot? That would tell you a lot. Because it says COLT on it and that model will not be made again, the value can only rise, IMO.

No, it's blued.

It shoots great other than I out of practice lining dots up. Since my kimbers don't have dots.
