Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - off center hole for the for the recoil spring.

In another forum I read that some Colts are experiencing this off center hole issue.  As a new guy to 1911 what are they talking about? Also, is this a Colt problem or is it found in SA, Kimber and all the rest? Thanks for your view on this.

It's a Colt problem, solved by warranty

Not that big of a deal, from what Iunderstand, UNLESS it's very thin.  My Colt is slightly off center, too, but I'v shot 500 rds, so far, without a hitch.
