I'm thinking about buying a P22. I am in the process of having a 22 cal. suppressor built for my 10/22. Just wondering what thread size the barrel on a P22 is.  It would be good if both threads were the same so I could put  the suppressor on either of the two.  Does the P22 come ready to accept a suppressor or do you have to purchase something extra.

you need to purchase a thread adaptor, which will replace the barrel nut. Said thread adaptors have the standard 1/2 x 28 threading. Tactical innovations sells one, amoung other companies.

Why don't they just thread the barrels 1/2x28 and save everyone the hassle?
