I just went to Federals website to look up some velocity numbers and noticed they didn't list 9mm 147g HST on their handgun ammo listings. They did show a 150grain listing though, and pictures look like new/different packaging. It shows the 150g velocity at 900fps while the box of 147g I have shows 1000fps so maybe they have phased it out???

I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.

Sorry, I don't know when the sale will end. Though, I expect that it might be after this weekend.

Note: it's listed as "for bolt action."

But, reading closer......it also says muzzle velocity at 1083 fps. That is about the same as most, "standard velocity 22LR." So, CCI std velocity ($259.90 per case) runs at 1070 fps. Well then, it should also work in my Ruger 10/22 (and I expect out of my revolvers and semi-auto pistols). Of course......your experience may vary.

I just hope that it shoots better than my standard promo ammo stuff.

For those of you looking for a light recoiling round for your .38 Special short barrel revolvers, this round @SGAmmo can't be beat for the price (0.30 per round). It's been a while since I have seen this round at this price. This is a great practice round and will keep your Ruger LCR or S&W 642 Airweight from hurting your hand even after shooting 100+ rounds in a session.

Not sure if this is proper to post this here, but there have been several posts about people being asked for credentials to purchase 50 round boxes of ammo packaged for Law Enforcement from Bone Frog Gun Club (ammo deal related). I am not affiliated with BFGC (just a customer) but, I received this notification and post it here to alert those of you that may not get BFGC's emails:

Hollow Point Ammunition (LE Restrictions)
50 round boxes of LE marketed ammunition has always been intended for Law Enforcement; 20 round boxes are available for standard retail purchasers. The manufacturers are getting stricter on these guidelines as it pertains to online sales, thus we have been asked to abide by indicating this on these product pages and asking customers to register with us in order to purchase these products. Currently we are required to restrict the purchase of 124 grain products, but eventually we anticipate all 50 round LE boxes will be restricted.

This item is permanently OUT OF STOCK. Federal has stopped production of this product so we do not expect to get more inventory. If this changes and we are able to restock, we will let you know.
