I found a place selling CCI Blazer 115gr FMJ ammo for 1,000 rounds shipped.

I know it's not competition level ammo or good for when SHTF, but it's cheap and that's all I care about right now, getting the most trigger time for the least amount of money.

$112 SHIPPED is about the best deal I think i'm going to find anywhere, if anyone knows of any better deals on any other brand of ammo (besides Wolf), i'd love to know.

Is this good ammo? I'm going to be using it in my Beretta M9.

Thanks

CCI in either brass or alluminum is good ammo. I shoot tons of it in .45 and 9mm.

Good stuff. Much cleaner than WWB or UMC.

Great practice ammo.

I could make a killing selling it for that price, and paying RETAIL.

You can buy it here for $77.20/k plus tax, at Academy Sports. Have you checked ALL your local places?

Good pratice ammo, but I would rather carry something else for self protection

I paid $115.02/k, shipped from Natchez.

Garts sometimes has the Winchester White Box for $89.80/k + tax.

for range ammo i love it. and if you can't afford good jhp then any ammo is better than no ammo.

did i read that right--1000 rounds of cci blazer for $77? if so i will send you the money so you can buy me some. and even with $20 for shipping it is still a good deal.

Yes - you read that right. It is $3.86 a box, $77.20/k, $84 out the door. Shipped with ORM-D, I think that can be done for around $20. That should come to $104.... so I guess $8 profit aint really a killing.

And no - I aint going to get you any.

is that the regular price or sale? yeah for $8 it ain't really worth it. unless i can buy it online from them and then i don't have to pay tax. muah ah ah.

Regular price.

I just picked up a 1,000 yesterday, for $72 out the door, but thats because I gots da inside hookup. Still, at without the discount, and after tax, $84 aint bad for 1K of good 9mm ammo.

no thats a great price hence the curiosity.

The $3.86/50 rounds price is their regular price. I've gone through a thousand rounds of the stuff and no problems yet. It's great stuff. Heck that cheap price is part of the reason why I bought my first 9mm.

They do look at you funny when you check out w/ a 1000 rounds under your arm though. Of course, I live in Austin and am surrounded by hippies.

the price of ammo is why i have standarized on 9mm for my pistols.

Hell, I rarely buy less than 3k at a time, and they never bat an eye in my store.

I have to watch the register girls tho.... they will scan the cardboard case and only try to charge me for 3 BOXES.

I walk up with 3000 rounds of ammo... she says "that'll be $12.53 sir."

I politely explain how much I would LOVE to pay that.... but she needs to type in the correct qty. It is amazing, it happens every time, and they act ANNOYED at me because they have to void it and rescan one box with a new qty.

I feel like telling their manager... if they dont fix this, I am just gonna pay the $12 next time.

it is their mistake and your windfall. kinda like monopoly--bank error in your favor. and if you start getting away with it i will buy some ammo off you for double what you pay.

I wouldnt do that. Just threaten to. It's already a great deal, so sense in taking advantage of them.
