my dad occasionally carries a 1908 Colt in 32 acp. I bought some of the LeHigh from Underwood. Video of water jug testing. seems it would do a bit more damage than standard FMJ. and yes i know 32 isnt the best choice for SD but he likes to carry the gun.

Well, whatever it does, it does 14 inches in ballistics gelatin, which is 2 inches over the minimum so I'd have to give it that.

Two to the balls and one to the teeth would certainly get someone's attention.

Would be interesting if you could shoot a rabbit or squirrel with the cavitator and then FMJ and see if there is a difference.

Underwood has a 65gr deender at 2100fps for .357 sig I wonder what it will do to a rabbit. I don't own a .32 ACP handgun so couldn't test this.

I would expect standard .32" ACP to penetrate a minimum of 12" of ballistic gelatin.  I'd be cautious about putting anything from Underwood in a historic firearm.

Just placed an order with them.  I carry a .32 Beretta.  Thanks for the post.

They have a non +P version but yes I would probably ask them before using it in a historic firearm.

It seems a lot of .32 ACP JHPs fall short of the 12in minimum.

I'm sure there are those that do... I would guess Hornady has one that does about 12-13 ... . I certainly would not want to carry that Corbon one with just over 6in penetration, heh.

Sorry, I wasn't clear.  I expect standard velocity .32" ACP FMJ to penetrate to a minimum of 12".  I don't expect any .32" ACP hollowpoint to penetrate anywhere near that.  There's only one .380" ACP load that I've seen tests on that both penetrates to 12" and expands reliably.

Haha, okay cool I was thinking damn this guy must not have watched any testing lol.

I'm certain it goes over SAAMI but buffalo bore has a 75gr hardcast +P I sure bet that would meet the standard two times lol. Well my glock 43 is a brick but I like it so will stay with that.
