I want to change orig. and damaged sites on an old pistol. I'm not looking for super target just something larger than orig. My eyes getting old also.

If you're not concerned about 'collector value'...any 1911 aftermarket sight should do the trick just fine. Problem is they'll require cutting on the slide.

There's not many, if any, sights out there (specifically front sights) that really use the original mounting method...finding rear sights that fit the original dovetail shouldn't be too hard, but the front ones...generally they need some machining for a modern set of 'em.

Thanks evil-ed. I found a guy on another board that has done this change over...Not bad but will take a little work on my part.
