The new spring arrived and was just like the one currently in my gun. I swapped it out anyway, but the first time it was no better than before. I took it out and this time I put the L shaped end back into the hole but resting on the inside of the hole. It seems to stay put and now doesn't protrude into the magazine well.
Does the end of the spring go into a blind hole within the hole in the frame? At any rate, the gun still fires and now my magazines drop free. |
