I have a fixed sight Colt Frontier Scout 62 in 22, no 22 mag cylinder. I have tried several different 22lr and 22 short by different manufacturers and different velocities, and it shoots consistently to the left. My local gunsmith told me just to aim to the right.

Since it has a fixed front sight and a rear notch cut on top, am I stuck with it as is? Is it able to be dovetailed and an adjustable rear sight added? I have little experience with single action revolvers, and I love this little guy except for the accuracy issue.

The fix in the ole west was to bend the front sight.

The professional answer is to carefully ( really a gunsmith proposition) very slightly turn the barrel in the frame to adjust point of aim. Before this I would have another skilled shooter fire it and see if the problem is you or the gun
