Just bought a M411 and was wondering if any of you guys know how accurate and reliable it is.
It fits my hand like a glove and I like the action.

These are generally considered to be "entry level" guns by S&W. In fact, they're not even listed in the new S&W catalog.

You may have gotten a good buy.

Should be as accurate as any third generation Smith, which is typically pretty good.  The 411 is the "value" series pistol.  Finish isn't as nice, sights are basic, and some of the parts like mag release are plastic.  As far as I know those can be replaced with standard metal parts if you're so inclined.  Good guns for the money.

I fired a S&W M411 rental gun and it was a POS. Inaccurate as hell. I had a hard time hitting paper at 10 yards and this particular M411 wouldn't group. I hope yours is better. Regards, Richard:D
