From this parts list for the 442, which part is the mangled screw. (It was a cruel combination of curiousity, undetected loctite, amd impatience). That is the flat head side plate screw. The parts list does not show it. It shows the yoke screw assembly (closest screw to the muzzle) and the round head (RDHD) side plate screw but I do not see the flat head screw. Since they do show it for the model 49 which is a steel frame, it may be a different part for the alloy "J" frames, or they may just use the same screw and choose not to re-list it for each model...I can't say.
I would invest in a phone call to their customer service, tell them what you need, and see what they say. |
