Oh well. What a fun C&R purchase. S&W 3rd hand ejector model made in the 1920s 32 S&W long Grips are not correct, but are beautiful. Everything else matches.

Nice. Those grips strike me as 80s vintage. No reason they just do.
As far as USPS yea Fed Ex did that to me with a box with several adult signature required stickers. Stuck between my screen door and front door on a rainy day at my old apartment. |

Side note: Assuming you also have a dealer FFL, as C&R FFLs are not permitted to ship/receive concealable firearms via USPS. 
....yet any old Joe can receive a machinegun in the mail if they sent it in for work. Go figure.
