I just took my M&P armorers course and I can confirm they are 100% interchangeable across the board.

Yes they are interchangeable. The backstraps for the 2.0 are more aggressive and come in an extra size. Other than that they are the same.

I have 2 right in front of me and put the med-larg on and then the med . I went with my core med grip on my full size MP.

My old MP9 full size is wearing the medium backstrap from my new FDE 5" 2.0. I've seen some M2.0 backstraps on ebay already, I might pick some up for my other guns.
