Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - beretta 92FS Vertec Trigger Question

a friend of mine bought one of these. he has large hands and when he pulls the trigger, it gives him fits. the trigger pull is tooooo long and he has to almost touch the frame with the trigger before it shoots. that's why i've never liked da/sa, or that's one of the reasons.

does anybody have experience with shortening these triggers?

The Vertec uses a special short trigger, but I heard they were switching to the regular trigger due to complaints.  Whichever one he has, I'd recomend trying the other one.
